About this reading
The Solar Return is the chart calculated for the exact moment when the Sun returns to the position it occupied at birth. It describes the astrological configuration of the new annual cycle that begins around your birthday.
The Solar Return is never separate from your birth chart. It is an annual experience of what we see in the birth chart, only from a different perspective. It is as though the being seeks to “test” itself from a different angle each year.
In this reading, I focus on both charts and on the relationships that appear between them. I observe which parts of the birth chart take on greater prominence, which processes and themes are activated during the new cycle, and from which perspective the being seeks to experience itself that year.
The reading makes it possible to identify what the being seeks during that period and how this intention participates in the person’s central process of self-realization.
My Astrological Premises
The birth chart represents the experience of the being. It is a symbolic representation of the particular way in which a person experiences themselves and encounters reality.
The birth chart can be seen as a mandala. In continuity with Dane Rudhyar’s vision, I understand it as a symbolic and organized whole, in which each part acquires meaning within the whole.
The birth chart is a living geometry. Each planet acquires meaning within a network of relationships: sign, house, aspects, rulerships, dispositors, and broader configurations.
A reading seeks the form created by the symbols as a whole. Each point can open a different path and reveal another figure within the same totality.
The birth chart shows how the being unfolds through specific points of focus. It does not describe a fixed personality.
Transits and Solar Returns make the experience of the being through time visible. They are not external forces acting upon a static chart.
