The High Priestess, Justice, and Judgement form an archetypal sequence characterized by deep perception, the balancing of forces, and a final panoramic evaluation of experience. When these three arcana appear as dominant in the natal chart, they configure a pattern that combines subtle intuition, a sharp sense of cause and effect, and a tendency to close cycles with a broad retrospective view.
How to Calculate Your Natal Major Arcana
Add all the digits of your birth date (day + month + year) and reduce the result until you obtain a number between 1 and 21.
Example: December 19, 2001 → 1 + 9 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 1 = 16 → 1 + 6 = 7 Result: Arcana 16 and 7.
If the final reduction gives 2, 11, or 20 (or combinations such as 11/2 or 20/2), the natal chart activates this archetypal triad.
The 2 – 11 – 20 Pattern
This combination revolves around the number 2 and its derivations. It represents a dynamic that begins with the perception of what is not overtly manifest, moves through the adjustment of opposing forces, and arrives at a broad overview of lived processes.
2 – The High Priestess This arcana describes a psychic structure oriented toward the hidden and the unspoken. Individuals with The High Priestess as a natal arcana tend to register subtle currents in their environment: emotional states, atmospheres, and meanings beneath words. There is a natural inclination toward what remains silent or in the background. Information arrives through non-linear channels and is usually processed internally and privately.
11 – Justice This arcana emphasizes the dynamic of cause and effect. It shows a sharp perception of the balance between actions and their consequences. People with this arcana tend to observe situations in terms of weights and counterweights, seeking precision and objectivity. There is a marked sensitivity to the internal coherence of decisions and their visible outcomes.
20 – Judgement This arcana reflects the capacity to contemplate an entire cycle from an elevated perspective. It brings a retrospective view that encompasses repeated patterns over time and allows one to see how sequences of experience close or transform. It often manifests as moments in which the personal narrative is reorganized after a phase of culmination or closure.
How the Complete Pattern is Constructed
The sequence 2 → 11 → 20 describes a specific archetypal movement:
From a deep, non-verbalized perception (The High Priestess) material is generated that then undergoes a process of adjustment and balancing (Justice), finally to be observed from a distance that permits evaluation of the whole of the experience (Judgement).
In this triad, subtle intuition does not remain purely internal; it feeds a capacity to discriminate and balance forces. That balance, in turn, opens the way to a broader understanding of the processes that have unfolded.
It is a pattern that tends to produce a sustained and detailed gaze upon both inner and outer reality, with special attention to what is not openly expressed, to the consequences of actions, and to the way cycles reach completion.
When this combination appears in the natal chart, life experience often organizes itself around these three axes: registering the subtle, adjusting the manifest, and reviewing what has occurred from a wider perspective.
