Holistic Astrology

The word "holistic" means the belief that the parts of something are intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.
Imagine that your being is a multidimensional sphere that functions on different planes of existence.
From western astrology, we see that the composition of our essential geometry is based on the four elements: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water.
With Fire, we are incited to action from inspiration. The Earth creates the physical world through which we experience existence. Air provides us with thought and observation. Water connects all.
Then we have the modalities: Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. Cardinal energy correlates with the seasons of the year. It signals the beginning of new stages. Fixed energy consolidates. The mutable energy is ready to adapt and exchange.
Continuing, we find the 12 astrological signs that describe the different stages of development, and the focus of each one. And there we find the planets, which describe aspects of our Being. The date, time, and place of birth show how the composition of all the astrological pieces is expressed in our individual reality.
In other words, the birth chart is a holistic map of our individual Self.
Holistic astrology seeks to reunify all the fragmented parts of our being, to experience life from the totality of it.
My goal is to go from believing that we should improve who we are to seeing ourselves as perfect as we are. Why? Because, if there is nothing to change in the elliptical of the planets, there is also nothing to change (or force) within ourselves!
Astrology provides us with the possibility of recovering the connection with our nature as it is, something that we have sometimes forgotten along the way. But… are we willing to let go of the beliefs that give us security in our environment and that make us feel part of the “group”, even if they limit us? Or do we already feel truly self-sufficient to make our own Sun shine?
Most of the challenges we experience as individuals have to do with parts of ourselves that have been suppressed, corrected, or changed according to the needs of our environment. While I am certain that these experiences are necessary to fill in the experiential records of our lives, there comes a time when we can use that information to integrate what we have learned and be reborn into adulthood. Thus, we become pioneers of our generation… giving society a new shape, not from the default behavior, but in a creative and beneficial way for all.
Therefore, holistic astrology focuses on the individual and their inner universe, and at the same time knowing oneself as a particle of the Universe.
Nothing to change, just an immensity to become conscious of, explore, understand and cherish.
